As an Internal Communications Manager, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem!
This purpose of the Internal Communications Manager role is:
The internal communications manager executes on internal communications efforts across the entire
company. He/she helps to increase employee engagement and awareness through communications and
internal events around company strategies, programs, and internal changes.
A typical day at ACI for an Internal Communications Manager is:
- Develop and Execute Communication Plans - Design and implement internal communication strategies and campaigns that drive engagement and awareness of company initiatives.
- Content Creation and Editing - Write, edit, and produce high-quality content for various modern platforms (email, intranet, video, social tools, presentations) in alignment with company brand standards and style guidelines.
- Channel Management - Leverage appropriate channels (e.g., MS Teams, email platforms, video) to deliver messages effectively to diverse global audiences.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with HR, Marketing, PR, and business leaders to align messaging with organizational priorities and ensure consistency.
- Employee Engagement – Support initiatives that foster culture and engagement, including in-person and virtual events, campaigns, and leadership communications.
- Measurement and Reporting – Use analytics tools and qualitative employee feedback to track the effectiveness of communications, complete reporting dashboards, and report performance data back to key stakeholders.
- Crisis and Change Communications – Assist with sensitive or urgent messaging, including organizational changes and crisis response.
- Project Management – Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
- AI Content Automation – Use AI-driven platforms to accelerate drafting of routine communications, tailor messaging to audiences, and create visual content.
- Training and Development – As needed, train new team members or key internal clients on team processes, procedures, and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI AI Policy and ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant communications and/or marketing experience
- Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills, including ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels
- Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate across functions and work independently and in teams
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with communication platforms (e.g., intranet CMS, email automation tools, video production software)
- Proficiency in AI concepts, including use of AI in communications and AI data privacy and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
- Experience working in payments or related industry.
- Event coordination skills or experience.
- Strong proofreading skills, including to spot AI-produced content weaknesses.
- Experience working with remote team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field; master’s degree preferred
- 7+ years related experience
- B2B and payments industry knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver multiple projects on time
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and work with teams across the company
- Outstanding collaboration skills
