About Flutter UKI
Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola, and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.
The Role
We are looking for an intern eager to develop skills in QA by working closely with our senior team members, while also having the opportunity to expand their knowledge by stepping into the Scrum Master role when needed..
Responsibilities

• Learn about the Agile methodology, what servant-leadership is about, and building consensus to drive toward outcomes
• Learn how to facilitate planning, daily progress, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies 
• Assist Product Owner to translate his/her vision and business objectives into product backlogs 
• Assist team members to self-manage and to progress towards product goals 
• Clear impediments and communicate risks to your team and management
• Engaging in the practice of core agile principles: collaboration, prioritization, accountability, continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the QA team to understand product requirements and testing objectives
• Assist in the development of test plans and strategies for upcoming releases
• Create and maintain detailed test cases based on product specifications
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality
• Document and track defects using designated tools and collaborate with developers for timely resolution
  

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required

• Attention to detail: Thoroughly review software to identify and report even minor issues
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex systems into testable components
• Communication: Clearly convey defects and testing progress to the team
• Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Jira or Playwright
• Basic Programming Knowledge: Understanding of programming languages (e.g. Java, Typescript) for test automation support
• Speaks up when it's needed 
• Highly self-organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, fun, multi-tasking environment 
• Foster a safe and open communication environment 
• Ability to ask meaningful questions
