🚀 We're Hiring: Investor Relations Internship at HBRD Investments

HBRD Investments is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial student ready to break into private markets and investor relations and build a real career, not just fill a CV line.

Who we are

HBRD Investments is an independent introduction firm connecting high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and professional investors with exclusive private market opportunities — spanning senior-secured lending, private short and medium term debt, and private equity deals. Founded in 2018, we take a curated, criteria-led approach: prioritising alignment between investor mandates and the opportunities we introduce.

What you'll be doing

• Making outbound cold calls to prospective investors
• For the first two weeks (training period) working full-time from our office in Dorobanți, Bucharest
• Building relationships with international investors
• Qualifying and converting leads from our database
• Finding new potential investor leads through Linkedin
• Understanding each investor's preferences and matching them to relevant opportunities as they arise
• Booking and managing follow-up calls and meetings, coordinating diaries with investors
• Keeping accurate, up-to-date records of investor interactions in our CRM (or learning how to use new platforms fast)
• Working closely with our Directors and wider investor relations team to move qualified leads toward close
• Giving deal presentations to potential investors across senior-secured lending, private debt, and private equity opportunities

Who we're looking for

• At least in your 3rd year of university (or a recent graduate), studying Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Genuinely interested in investments and financial markets: you know the basics and want to know more
• A natural people person — an extravert who thrives being surrounded by people, with strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships easily
• Comfortable hearing "no" through the cold calling and staying motivated anyway
• Resourceful and independent — a solution-finder who can figure things out on their own when needed
• Entrepreneurial spirit, hungry to start a real career in investment and finance
• Fluent in English (at least C1 level) with a neutral, easily understood accent — you'll be working mainly with international and UK investors
• Confident, professional phone manner, comfortable making calls every day
• Independent and driven, taking real ownership of your own pipeline
• Comfortable with CRM tools and a structured process — or a fast learner when it comes to new platforms
