We are looking for an IT Application Owner (ITAO) to oversee the governance, security, compliance, and operational readiness of business-critical applications. In this role, you will ensure that applications remain secure, compliant with internal and external requirements, and aligned with technology roadmaps throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate application governance, risk, compliance, and lifecycle management activities.
• Drive the remediation of audit findings, security vulnerabilities, and technology risks.
• Ensure applications comply with regulatory, security, operational, and technology standards.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations teams.
• Coordinate and support Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
• Monitor application health, operational readiness, and lifecycle compliance.
• Contribute to technology modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support application assessments, technology upgrades, and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Act as a key stakeholder for application-related audits, controls, and governance reviews.

Requirements

• Experience in Application Management, IT Application Ownership, Production Support, IT Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps, or related areas.
• Good understanding of application lifecycle management, IT governance, and operational processes.
• Exposure to audit, compliance, information security, risk management, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, databases, infrastructure components, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience within financial services, banking, or other regulated industries is considered an advantage.
