The role
Platform Project Manager - Treasury

As the technology Platform & Project Delivery Manager for our Treasury processes, you will drive innovation and efficiency across treasury, cash management, improve efficient around bank account management and “KYC” processes, payments optimisation / fraud detection, and related functions, enabling seamless operations, cost optimization, and enhanced business value.
Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Inspire and guide a cross-functional technology team to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions for our Treasury management and operational teams.
• Platform Strategy: Define a compelling vision and product strategy for the overall Treasury platform, aligning with the broader Finance and Treasury objectives. Develop strategies using technology to automate workflows, optimize cash management, reduce treasury management complexity while ensuring robust fraud detection processes & technology in our payment cycles.
• Product Management: Develop and maintain a product roadmap for Treasury systems. Own and prioritize the change backlog, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and alignment with business objectives. Continuously refine backlog items to maximize business value and operational impact.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with Treasury, Finance and other key stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technology / development teams, ensuring transparency and trust in our commitments.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with senior cross-functional teams to integrate Treasury technology solutions seamlessly into broader operational and financial systems.
• Development: Work closely with engineering teams and external partners to deliver solutions that meet business requirements. Ensure timely execution of the product development roadmap.
• Project Management: responsible to project manage & resource the roadmap and initiative commitments, leading the business analyst, engineering teams and communicating with Treasury ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Performance Management: Evaluate and enhance the performance of Treasury applications, ensuring measurable improvements in operational efficiency,, and payment processing. Define and track KPIs to assess platform effectiveness.
• Budget Control: Manage the operating and investment (project) budgets for Treasury initiatives. Ensure robust financial control and deliver a strong return on investment.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies in Treasury technology and the release roadmap of our platform’s software. Evaluate and adopt state-of-the-art tools and platforms to improve process efficiency and compliance.
  

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Technology, or related). An MBA is preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in senior product or technology management roles, with a focus on project delivery (project management), process improvements & transformation. Proven track record of delivering scalable solutions that improve Treasury and financial operations.
• Industry Insight: Strong background in Treasury, Cash Management, Treasury Operations and cash balance forecasting environments. Experience in industries such as co-working, hospitality, rental agencies, commercial real estate, or retail operations is advantageous.
• Technology Expertise: Familiarity with systems such as TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions) Cash Optix and PayOptix software, SWIFT processing platforms and Enterprise cash reporting tools.
• Project Management: Skilled in delivering projects of significant size that have a global reach and impact 50 to 100 users.
• Process Optimization: Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate Treasury and Cash management workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance compliance.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong focus on cost control and operational efficiency, with a proven ability to drive measurable outcomes.
• Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Multitasking Ability: Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex financial and treasury systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software engineering principles, development and implementation lifecycles is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English.
