🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing standard IT issues and service requests
• Support employees with workplace hardware, printers, telephones, and standard software applications
• Record, track, and update incidents and service requests in the IT service management system
• Escalate complex incidents and requests to the IT Coordinator or the central Shared Service Center when required
• Install, configure, and replace workplace hardware, including PCs, notebooks, monitors, and peripherals
• Set up and deploy new workstations according to company standards
• • Assist with printer installation, troubleshooting, and basic network-related activities
• Support inventory management, asset tracking, and equipment identification processes
• Assist during IT rollouts, office relocations, and hardware refresh projects
• Support external IT service providers during on-site activities
• Maintain local IT documentation, asset records, and inventories
• Follow IT security procedures and report potential security incidents or irregularities

🧭 About the Role:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the daily IT operations of our production site in Romania.
Working closely with the IT Site Coordinator and the central Shared Service Center (Diehl Informatics), you will provide first-level user support, ensure that workplace equipment is functioning efficiently, and contribute to the smooth operation of local IT services during the site's setup and growth phase.
🔹 Essential Requirements:

• Completed vocational training in Information Technology or a comparable technical qualification
• Alternatively, relevant practical experience in IT support, helpdesk, or workplace services
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows workplace environments
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, printers, and workplace technologies
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and printer support
• Experience with ticketing systems is considered an advantage
• Customer-service orientation and proactive approach to user support
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Reliable, structured, and organized working style
• Willingness to learn, develop technical skills, and take a hands-on approach to daily activities
• English language skills, both written and spoken
