What You'll Be Doing

• Administer and manage VMWare vCenter environments (version 7 & 8), including creating, modifying, and automating resources and configurations.
• Collaborate with internal users to define the infrastructure necessary for their needs and industrialize changes as required.
• Handle Windows VM (2016/2019/2022) deployments, associating baselines and automating OS versioning.
• Deploy and manage Linux VM (Ubuntu 18.04/20.04/22.04) applications while streamlining operations and baseline associations.
• Support SAN updates without service interruption.
• Supervise and maintain backup solutions (Veeam for small sites and Commvault for DataCenters), ensuring infrastructure updates and implementing necessary changes.
• Create and maintain documentation, keeping it updated alongside system configurations.
• Work on scripts and automations to enhance efficiency in all assigned tasks.
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience across relevant technologies (VMWare, Windows/Linux VMs, SANs, Veeam & Commvault backups).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation to industrialize operations.
• Capability to perform daily administration and networking tasks, patch updates, and maintain documentation.
• Ability to take on complex tasks with guidance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset to analyze, propose, and implement solutions for infrastructure improvements.
• Autonomous with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
