Responsible for the design, operation, and further development of group-wide mailing services (Exchange / SMTP gateways). Assumes deputy ownership including security features, Purview, and automation.
Responsibilities

• Operation, administration, and further development of MS Exchange Online
• Operation and maintenance of SMTP gateways/relays
• Technical ownership for mailing services
• Implementation of security and compliance requirements using EOP, E5 security and compliance features (Purview)
• Automation via PowerShell to improve efficiency
• Troubleshooting and 3rd-level support for Mailing / EXO / Gateways
• You operate and evolve our Exchange Online environment, ensuring secure, stable and high‑performance enterprise messaging services.
  

Qualifications

• Solid expertise in Exchange Online and troubleshooting skills at L3 level
• 5 years or more of experience in IT Engineering or successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of SMTP Relay scenarios
• PowerShell skills required for automation
• Experience with Microsoft Purview (labels, retention, eDiscovery, retention, auditing) beneficial
• You manage incidents and changes reliably with a focus on quality and continuous improvement, while communicating your progress transparently and maintaining structure and clarity.
