Key Responsibilities

•
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Jakarta EE.

•
Build and enhance scalable RESTful APIs.

•
Lead application architecture, solution design, and technical decision-making.

•
Work across all SDLC phases, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

•
Optimize database performance and design efficient data models.

•
Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Service and Azure Virtual Machines.

•
Implement unit testing, integration testing, and test automation best practices.

•
Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

•
6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

•
Strong expertise in Jakarta EE.

•
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

•
Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modelling, and performance optimization.

•
Hands-on experience with Azure App Service and Azure Virtual Machines (VMs).

•
Experience with application architecture and technical solution design.

•
Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.

•
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience with Mendix (Front-end development).
