We are looking for a passionate Java developer to join us in our ongoing journey of developing a suite of microservices to fulfil the challenging business requirements of our project.

You will get the chance to work on a complex project used in thousands of buildings across Central Europe which helps improve their energy consumption and CO2 footprint.

Responsibilities

• Understanding our challenging product and its use cases
• Help in the development process of Spring Boot microservices
• Come up with solutions and ideas regarding product development and find the best way to integrate new features in our system while preserving its extensibility.
• Improve and maintain automated build and deploy environment
• Perform code reviews

Your profile

• 2+ years working experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JSON/REST, JPA, SQL, Hibernate
• Ability to operate in Linux environments (Ubuntu)
• Experience with tools such as Docker, Jenkins, GIT, Gradle
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests using JUnit 4/5, Mockito
• Good Analytical/problem solving skills, highly self-motivated and autonomous
• Good practice of clean code
• You're a passionate person fluent in English

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Kotlin, JMS, Flyway, Quarkus
• Knowledge of Spring WebFlux and Asynchronous processing
• Hands-on experience with modern software architectures like Microservices or Modular Monoliths
