As a Java Developer at OBSS, you will work on diverse, large-scale projects to design, build, and maintain innovative software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop RESTful APIs, create scalable architectures, and ensure high coding standards that support mission-critical systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications according to project requirements.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate client systems.
• Create and maintain program documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and test plans.
• Review development and coding standards to ensure best practices are followed.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm system and cost objectives are met.
• Recommend process improvements and innovative approaches to enhance supported systems.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong back-end development skills, including system design and end-to-end architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (MVC, Boot, Cloud, Data, Security), and RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (responsive design), and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• High energy, motivation, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to approach AI with curiosity and intention, actively incorporating AI-powered tools into workflows to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
