We are looking for our client, a respected IT & Consulting Company focused on IT, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting, to hire a skilled Java Developer.

The team operates under Agile methodologies, utilizing a unique implementation adapted from Spotify's model. The focus of the role is on building new features and maintaining existing services for the It Is a client-facing application used for companies flows application.

What You Would Do & Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve defects in test, acceptance, or production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the development process.
• Develop new applications and make changes to existing ones.
• Translate functional analysis into technical analysis and developments.
• Create release documents to support deployments and software after release.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Ensure designs adhere to specifications and coding standards.
• Estimate duration of programming and unit testing phases.
• Perform unit testing after implementation to ensure proper functionality of new or changed components.

Requirements:

Hard Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design & Programming.
• Experience in Java programming.
• Quality orientation with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in J2EE/JEE Platform (JMS, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, EJB), Spring Core, Spring Boot, Elastic Search, Apache Ignite, Microservices.
• Good understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience working with containers (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile and Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices.
• University degree in IT, engineering, or related field.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improvement.
• Openness to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.

Nice to know:

• Experience with OpenShift, Service Mesh.
• Experience using KAFKA.
• Experience with any ESB (preferably WSO2).
• Understanding of Agile and iterative methodologies - Scrum.
