A leading international company in the financial services and insurance industry is looking for a Junior Accounting Professional to join its regional finance and transformation team.

This role offers exposure to complex accounting and reporting processes, collaboration with international stakeholders, and the opportunity to contribute to strategic finance transformation projects within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the definition, development, and update of the Group financial data model;
• Assist with quarterly closing and financial reporting processes;
• Contribute to the implementation of future CFO and finance transformation processes;
• Support the integration and adoption of new accounting principles and practices;
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for senior management and stakeholders;
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze financial data.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields;
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance;
• Good understanding of accounting processes, general ledger functions, and financial statements;
• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS standards;
• Understanding of insurance regulations and Solvency II requirements is considered a plus;
• Advanced English skills;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail;
• Proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SAP GL / Tagetik;
• Previous experience within a Big 4 environment;
• Italian language skills are considered an advantage.
