Job description:
We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a Radio & Communications division and contribute to the development of advanced communication systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior engineer to gain hands-on experience in signal processing, embedded systems, and modem technologies while working alongside experienced engineering teams on real-world communication solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and testing of DSP firmware for communication systems.
- Assist with embedded software development for signal processing applications.
- Contribute to the integration and validation of embedded platforms involving DSPs, processors, and FPGAs.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of modem and communication algorithms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Use simulation and analysis tools to evaluate communication system behavior.
- Document designs, test results, and development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts.
- Knowledge of embedded programming in C.
- Familiarity with ARM-based processors and embedded systems architectures.
- Understanding of analog and digital communication principles.
- Exposure to modem technologies and wireless communication concepts through academic projects, internships, or coursework.
- Basic knowledge of communication system simulation tools such as MATLAB.
- Familiarity with embedded hardware platforms, microcontrollers, DSPs, or FPGAs is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative engineering environment.
Nice to Have
- Internship, university project, or laboratory experience involving DSP, embedded systems, or communications.
- Exposure to TI or Analog Devices DSP platforms.
- Basic understanding of RF concepts and communication protocols.
- Experience with FPGA-based development environments.
