This is not a routine entry-level role.
You will be trained to understand and execute real trading decisions in a fast-moving market environment, with a strong focus on responsibility, discipline, structured thinking, and sound judgment.
We are currently expanding our team and looking for motivated people who want to learn and grow in a technical field with direct impact in the energy sector.
What we do:
• Energy trading across Day-Ahead, Intraday, and Balancing Markets (OPCOM, BRM, Transelectrica)
• Forecasting and optimization of renewable production
• Portfolio management for energy producers
• Development of internal tools and data-driven systems
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze energy market data (day-ahead, intraday, balancing market), including cross-border flows, regional imbalances, and supply-demand dynamics across European markets
• Support trading and portfolio optimization decisions in real time
• Work with forecasting data and help improve accuracy over time
• Assist in executing trading strategies and gradually take ownership of trade execution
• Identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities in market conditions
• Contribute to the development of internal tools, reports, and automation processes
• Collaborate closely with the team in a fast-paced, decision-driven environment
Education:
• Final-year student or graduate of the Faculty of Energy Engineering (Energetics) is strongly preferred
• Degrees in related technical or quantitative fields (e.g. electrical engineering, electronics, mathematics, physics or similar) are also considered
Additional notes:
Previous experience in energy is a plus, but not mandatory. We value attitude, curiosity, and willingness to develop.
