Our partner is a well-established technology & operations center in Bucharest, part of one of the world's leading financial groups.
This position is part of the HR Operations team, which is in charge of performing HR admin & payroll activities for the company's local entity (approx. 2000 employees).
This is a 1 year maternity cover role, with a strong chance of extension based on individual performance and motivation.
This is the type of role that requires a high level of attention to detail, resilience, as well as superior self organization and focus.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Focus primarily on new starter activities under the Romanian legislation (from Offer to Day1) - gather employment documentation, schedule candidates for medical check-ups, draft employment contracts and have them signed by the candidates, run background checks and onboarding activities.
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide first-line support to candidates and managers related to new starter and onboarding activities.
- Collaborate with internal HR teams (Payroll, Time & Attendance, Talent Acquisition, Benefits) to resolve various situations and cover the new starter flows.
- Prepare and review standard HR documentation.
- Ensure timely processing of requests in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in internal HR projects.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (hiring managers, recruitment teams, HRBPs, etc).
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
- 6-10 months of experience ideally in an HR admin role or in a support role in HR.
- An HR inspector certification (preferably, not mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills;
- Attention to details;
- Very good command of English (B2/C1).
