Role Summary

As a Junior IT Recruiter, you will support the full recruitment cycle for technical roles, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and build a pipeline of high-quality IT candidates. You will receive ongoing mentorship and training to grow into an independent recruiter.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end recruitment for IT roles, from sourcing to offer stage.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements.

• Create, post and optimize job descriptions on relevant platforms (LinkedIn, eJobs, BestJobs, internal ATS).

• Actively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, and referrals.

• Screen CVs and candidate profiles, and conduct initial HR interviews.

• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and technical teams.

• Maintain consistent communication with candidates, providing updates and feedback.

• Collect and centralize interview feedback from hiring teams.

• Support employer branding activities by promoting the company to potential candidates.


Must-Have Qualifications

• Genuine passion for recruitment and people-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills in Romanian and English.

• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Basic understanding or eagerness to learn about IT roles and technologies.

• High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.


Nice-to-Have

• Internship or early experience in HR/recruitment.

• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or ATS tools.

• Knowledge of local job platforms (e.g., eJobs, BestJobs, Hipo).


Career Progression & Achievement Goals

First 3 Months (Foundation & Integration)

Example

Goals:

• Complete onboarding and understand internal recruitment processes, tools, and systems.

• Assist with posting job ads and maintaining roles in the ATS.

• Screen candidate profiles and support initial phone screening calls.

• Coordinate logistics for interviews and feedback collection.

• Build familiarity with key IT roles (developers, QA, DevOps).

Success Indicators:

• Accurate job postings and regularly updated ATS records.

• Consistent candidate communication logs.

• Positive feedback from hiring managers on coordination support.


6 Months (Autonomy & Contribution)

Goals:

• Independently manage screening and candidate outreach for junior/mid-level roles.

• Participate actively in sourcing strategies across LinkedIn and job boards.

• Develop shortlists of candidates aligned to role requirements.

• Begin conducting HR interviews and screening with minimal supervision.

• Collect data on pipeline health and suggest improvements.

Success Indicators:

• Reduced time-to-screen and improved candidate engagement metrics.

• Successful hand-offs to technical interviews with strong shortlists.

• Clear understanding of IT role nuances and candidate market trends.


9 Months (Growing Impact & Ownership)

Goals:

• Manage full end-to-end cycle for assigned roles (from requisition to offer).

• Build and maintain an active talent pipeline for recurring technical roles.

• Provide insights to hiring managers on market conditions and candidate expectations.

• Support employer branding initiatives via outreach campaigns and events.

• Start mentoring newer team members on basic sourcing and screening tasks.

Success Indicators:

• Consistent delivery of quality candidates and successful hires.

• Reliable forecasting of recruitment timelines and challenges.

• Demonstrates proactive contribution to recruitment strategy and improvement ideas.
