Role Title

Junior Marketing Associate (Focus: DACH Region & Flagship Industry Report)


Role Summary

We are looking for a sharp, organized, and linguistically talented Junior Marketing Associate to join our team in Cluj-Napoca. You will support Cadran’s marketing and growth activities with one primary mission: help deliver and distribute our flagship market report for the DACH region (with qualitative + quantitative research, expert outreach, and content-driven distribution). You will work at the intersection of research, content, campaigns, and operational marketing, with real responsibility and fast learning.


About Your Role

This is an execution-heavy role with increasing ownership. You’ll help turn research into assets, assets into campaigns, and campaigns into leads, partners, and credibility in the DACH market. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and external collaborators (design, research, partners).

About Your Projects

Your primary mission for the first 6-12 months is the Flagship Industry Report.

●      The Anchor Project: Launching a comprehensive report on Industry 4.0 before the Global Innovation Summit 2026 expo in Basel, Switzerland.

●      The Goal: Position Cadran as a thought leader. You will help us gather data, manage surveys, coordinate with experts, and distribute the final product to 500+ key decision-makers.

●      The Impact: This report is the vehicle for our market repositioning. Your work will directly contribute to generating €500K+ in new pipeline opportunities.

●      Beyond the Report: You will support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting the DACH region and help manage our digital presence.

Secondary projects may include:

●      Content repurposing into LinkedIn/email assets

●      Sponsorship and partner marketing support

●      Basic campaign analytics and reporting

●      Website/landing page updates for report-related campaigns

●      Event/expo support assets (e.g., GIS-related communication)

●      CRM hygiene and marketing ops support (lightweight).


Key Responsibilities

Report Growth & Distribution

●      Support the end-to-end marketing execution for the report (calendar, assets, distribution plan).

●      Build and maintain an outreach pipeline (experts, interview candidates, potential sponsors/partners).

●      Prepare outreach drafts in German and English (LinkedIn and email), track responses, and manage follow-ups.

●      Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics; prepare briefing notes and summary drafts.


Content & Brand Execution

●      Repurpose report insights into LinkedIn posts, short articles, carousels, and email newsletters.

●      Create and maintain a content calendar, schedule posts and coordinate with designers.

●      Maintain quality standards: formatting, terminology, brand tone, consistency.


Research Support (Operational)

●      Desk research: collect and structure sources, company lists, exhibit databases, competitor references.

●      Support survey operations (Typeform or equivalent): test flows, improve questions, track response rates.

●      Help transform raw inputs into clean, usable marketing assets (tables, key charts, highlights).


Marketing Ops & Performance

●      Track weekly KPIs (reach, engagement, clicks, form completions, outreach conversion).

●      Maintain basic CRM/HubSpot hygiene (tags, lists, campaign attribution) where relevant.

●      Communicate progress clearly: what’s done, what’s blocked, what’s next.


Must-Haves

●      Fluent German (mandatory; business writing + calls).

●      Strong English (writing + internal work).

●      Strong writing discipline: clarity, structure, proofreading, correct formatting.

●      High reliability: you deliver what you commit to, on time.

●      Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT-style assistants, research tools, editing tools) to increase throughput.

●      Operational discipline: you can manage multiple small tasks without dropping details.


Nice-to-Haves

●      First experience in B2B marketing, research, media, consulting, SaaS, or industry reports.

●      Familiarity with LinkedIn growth, email sequences, basic SEO, Typeform, HubSpot.

●      Basic data handling skills (Sheets/Excel): cleaning, organizing, simple analysis.

●      Interest in manufacturing, packaging, woodworking, energy, or industrial AI.


Non-Negotiables (How We Work)

●      Communication: You can speak diplomatically and professionally with a CEO of a German manufacturing firm or a professor from a technical university.

●      Adaptability and speed: You understand that in a growing company, priorities can shift. You adapt quickly and keep a positive attitude.

Compensation

●      Employment contract, part-time (6 hours/day), with 3-month probation.

●      Competitive salary aligned with Cluj-Napoca tech market and German language premium:

○      5,500 – 7,500 RON gross / month (estimated 3,200 – 4,500 RON net / month, depending on tax profile).
