We are looking for a commercially driven Junior Product Manager to support the development of the Building & Joinery product category. The role focuses on building a relevant, competitive, and profitable assortment aligned with customer needs, industry standards, and market trends.

You will support product portfolio management, supplier collaboration, performance analysis, and stock planning. This position combines analytical thinking, learning agility, negotiation support, and a strong interest in construction materials, building solutions, and DIY/joinery products.

Role Description

The Junior Product Manager supports the management of the assigned product range in line with company performance indicators and market trends.

You will contribute to the development, commercial performance, and assortment management of Building & Joinery products, ensuring a relevant, competitive, and well-structured offering. The role also involves stock monitoring, supplier coordination, and data analysis to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Management

• Support the management of the assigned product range in line with category strategy.
• Identify market trends and assist in spotting opportunities for new products, suppliers, and product improvements.
• Support the listing of new products and ensure accurate product data in the ERP system.
• Assist in analyzing assortment performance and suggest improvements (rotation, profitability, availability).
• Ensure product information is complete and accurate (names, descriptions, images, specifications).

Supplier Support & Coordination

• Support negotiations of commercial terms and payment conditions.
• Assist in identifying potential new suppliers.
• Support supplier onboarding and contract management processes.
• Track campaign costs and contractual agreements with suppliers.

Analysis, Performance & Forecasting

• Analyze key indicators such as sales, margin, stock levels, and product availability.
• Monitor market trends and pricing competitiveness.
• Support demand forecasting and ordering processes.
• Track stock aging and support corrective actions where needed.

Campaigns & Promotion

• Support product selection for promotional campaigns across sales channels.
• Assist in preparing promotional offers and supplier coordination.

Stock Management

• Support order creation in the ERP system and monitor deliveries.
• Track stock levels and assist in managing end-of-life products.
• Help maintain accurate documentation for campaigns and supplier settlements.
