We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Key Account Manager to manage and expand strategic accounts with high-value clients and large cash & carry wholesalers in the spirit’s sector. This role is a mix of business development and strategic account management, focused on driving growth, improving sales and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge in the spirits verticals, exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management:

  • Manages and grows strategic client accounts to drive sales generation, consolidate business relationships, and increase market share.
  • Represents the company in business relationships with clients, distributors, and wholesalers (meetings, commercial correspondence).
  • Penetrates and connects multiple functions and levels within customer organizations to key internal resources to drive partnerships, business growth, and value delivery.
  • Develops and implements the sales strategy for managed clients to accelerate revenue generation and increase market share;
  • Establishes the connection between the client and the company’s departments to circulate the necessary information, ensuring that the client’s needs are understood and resolved in a timely manner

Sales Generation:

  • Participates in the negotiation and closure of sales contracts to drive revenue generation and incrementally grow the market share;
  • Proactively problem solves identified issues with distributors, clients, and wholesalers to ensure their retention, while negotiating new terms and conditions that meet client’s requirements.
  • Manages and monitors client’s budget, explains prices and negotiates the renewal of contracts or the acquisition of new products;
  • Expands the product range and lists new products for existing clients, ensuring sales generation and portfolio diversification;

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Develops and delivers sales reports to highlight achieved targets and evidence undertook sales actions, while identifying areas of concerns or development;
  • Forecasts the revenue (sales) and expenditure (investment) budgets of managed clients and send them for approval to the direct supervisor;
  • Monitors the achievement of sales objectives, identifies areas of concerns or development, and proposes actions to reach them;
  • Monitors and tracks the delivery of sales contracts, ensuring adherence to established terms and conditions.


Candidate’s Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in off-trade and account management within FMCG companies;
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and expanding a client/ distributor portfolio in the alcohol industry;
  • Preferably extensive experience as a Key Account Manager for cash and carry wholesalers;
  • Proven track record of success in sales and account management;
  • Proactive and driven with advanced communication and negotiation skills;
  • Able to build relationships and consolidate existing ones through effective problem solving and go getter attitude;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package and other relevant software;
  • Medium proficiency in English Language.
