We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager, responsible for driving business growth and managing key accounts within the ultrasound business division. In this role you will create sustainable performance by developing and executing strategies optimized for the market—in alignment with HQ's sales and marketing strategy.
You will build and manage relationships with distribution partners, major hospitals, and Key Opinion Leaders.
For this role you will need:
• Minimum of 5 years of sales & marketing experience, preferable in the medical device industry.
• Mandatory experience and in-depth knowledge of Ultrasound equipment sales.
• Extensive network with major hospitals, GPOs (Group Purchasing Organizations), and distribution channels in the Romanian market.
• Proven track record in winning tenders and securing contracts from large accounts.
• Experience in KOL management and collaboration with major medical societies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate and communicate effectively in a matrix environment.
• Proficiency in English is required.
In this role your responsibilities will be:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute sales targets, strategies, and Sales management strategies for each key region and territory.
• Systematically manage a pipeline of business opportunities (BO) across all regions, from identification and qualification to strategic pursuit and closure.
• Identify, develop, and manage short and mid-long term business relationships with Key Accounts, including major hospitals and medical institutions.
• Proactively manage the tender process by engaging with key stakeholders and institutions to identify upcoming opportunities, ensuring Samsung Healthcare solutions are well positioned and aligned with tender requirements before bid submission
• Communicate with customers proactively improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Channel & Partner Management
• Collaborate closely with local distributors to develop sales plans and manage their execution.
• Support partners' sales activities, regularly manage their performance, and report the status to HQ.
3. Market & Customer Engagement:
• Continuously analyze the Romanian healthcare system, regulations, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and manage relationships with key KOLs and medical societies to enhance the brand awareness of Samsung Healthcare products.
• Promptly identify and resolve customer needs, collaborating with all relevant departments to deliver superior customer satisfaction.
• Marketing & Reporting
4.Application Support:
- Exhibit product expertise during customer support, congresses and clinical training.
- Extend support in professional forums, congresses and conferences.
- Organize and deliver training through screening workshops, forums and seminars.
- Organize and coordinate congresses, forums and customer meetings included in the marketing plan.
