For one of our clients, a leading solar distributor, supplying panels, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and other components, we are looking for a Key Account Manager in Romania who will have to strengthen their client relationships and lead sales growth in the regional market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company's entry into the Romanian market and act as the primary point of contact for local clients and partners.
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with key accounts, installers, and distribution partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the solar distribution sector.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms in line with company strategy and targets.
- Work closely with internal teams (logistics, procurement, finance, and technical support) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the Romanian renewable energy industry.
- Represent OSW at client meetings, trade fairs, and industry events when needed.
- Use CRM tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and performance
Qualifications
- Fluent in Romanian and English (spoken and written – required).
- Proven B2B sales or key account management experience within the solar or electrical distribution industry.
- Strong understanding of PV products, logistics, and local market operations.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Willingness to travel across Romania and occasionally within the EU.
