Responsibilities:

 Define and maintain the overall technical architecture

 Mentor and guide developers on best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

 Drive the development of first functioning prototypes and ensure scalability for production.

 Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize features based on value/effort ratio.

 Break down complex requirements into actionable stories and tasks

 Distribute tasks among team members based on skills, experience, and workload.

 Document technical solutions and implementation details for the team.

 Establish and enforce automated testing strategies (unit, API, integration, functional) within a CI/CD pipeline.

 Monitor and improve code quality, performance, and security across the stack.

 Promote and implement best practices for maintainability and scalability.

 Take responsibility for the technical success and quality of the product.

Technical Skills:

• Strong Java programming skills (6+ years)
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot (5+ years)
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, concepts, and design patterns
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Experience with messaging and event-driven systems (e.g., Solace, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka)
• Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, BigQuery)
• Experience with Angular 4 (or newer) and TypeScript is a strong advantage
• Hands-on experience with Git version control
• Experience designing and building scalable applications
• Expertise in automated testing concepts, methodologies, and frameworks
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (or a similar cloud platform), and Generative AI technologies

Other Skills:

• Familiar with Agile methodology (3+ years experience working in an Agile team)
• Great leading, interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English. French is a plus
