Mission

We are looking for an experienced Legal Adviser with strong expertise in commercial and contractual law., to work with our most imortant client Lóreal. This role will play a key part in managing the legal framework and associated risks for all paid campaigns involving influencers, ambassadors, and celebrities.

The successful candidate will ensure that all contracts are legally compliant, properly structured, and easily accessible for internal stakeholders while supporting the business with clear and practical legal guidance.

Job functions 

• Contract Management:  Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with influencers for paid campaigns, ensuring all agreements comply with applicable legal and contractual standards.

• Image Rights Oversight:  Provide legal oversight regarding the use of image rights across campaigns, ensuring proper contractual protection and advising teams on best practices.

• Ambassadors & Celebrity Agreements:  Prepare and review contracts with brand ambassadors, celebrities, and other high-profile partners when required.

• Contract Repository & Documentation:  Ensure the proper collection, organization, and accessibility of all influencer and celebrity contracts so that both SAMY and client teams (e.g., L'Oréal) can retrieve documentation efficiently when needed.

• Legal Guidance & Support: Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal teams on contractual matters, compliance questions, and campaign-related legal considerations.

• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor the legal and regulatory landscape in Romania and relevant jurisdictions, keeping teams informed about developments affecting advertising regulations, influencer marketing, and image rights.

• Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks related to marketing campaigns and advise on mitigation strategies aligned with company policies and legal requirements.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Compliance, and Business teams to ensure legal alignment throughout campaign planning and execution.

Skills 

• 3–5 years of experience in contractual or commercial law, with strong experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements,  intellectual property law are a plus.

• Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent); additional qualifications in commercial, media.

• Experience in influencer marketing compliance and image rights is considered a strong plus.

• Strong knowledge of Romanian legislation, particularly related to advertising, image rights, intellectual property, and contractual compliance.

• Proven experience  of social media platforms and the digital marketing ecosystem.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Fluent in English; Romanian native speaker required.
