Adecco Romania is recruiting for its client, an international company operating across multiple markets, for a Legal & Compliance Specialist to join their team in Bucharest.This role has a strong focus on Compliance. You will take ownership of an established compliance program, ensuring its continued development while supporting the organization across key compliance, risk and governance activities.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the Immigration & Mobility program, one of the key areas of responsibilityTake ownership of Background Checks & Screening processesConduct and coordinate internal audits, risk assessments and compliance monitoring activitiesCoordinate the annual review of internal policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with internal policies and procedures across the organizationProvide support on basic contracts with suppliers and contractorsContribute to RFIs, RFPs and other client compliance requestsSupport digitalization and AI initiatives within Legal & ComplianceWork closely with stakeholders across the business to strengthen and further develop the existing compliance frameworkAbout You:Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Governance or Internal AuditExperience working in an international or multinational environmentGood understanding of compliance frameworks, policies & procedures, audit and risk managementComfortable reviewing and analyzing basic contractual documentationExperience in Banking, Investment Banking, Financial Services or FinTech is a strong advantageExposure to UK and European markets is considered a plusStrong analytical, organizational and stakeholder management skillsFluent English and the ability to work effectively in an international environmentPlease note: Adecco will contact only candidates whose experience and background are relevant to the role.
