About the Position

We are seeking a Legal Counsel with solid experience in construction and commercial agreements to support legal activities related to photovoltaic park development projects.

This role focuses on negotiating and managing EPC / General Contractor agreements, while also providing legal guidance for internal operations and ensuring compliance across multiple international jurisdictions where projects are carried out.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements (construction, EPC / General Contractor, subcontracting, and supply contracts)
• Evaluating and tailoring contractual provisions, including those based on FIDIC frameworks
• Assessing legal risks related to ongoing and upcoming projects and proposing mitigation strategies
• Offering legal support to project, procurement, and management teams
• Advising on internal legal matters such as corporate decisions, policies, and operational compliance
• Overseeing legal aspects of international workforce arrangements (secondments, cross-border activities)
• Interpreting and applying legal requirements in countries where projects are executed, in collaboration with external legal partners
• Ensuring compliance in contractual relationships with partners, vendors, and subcontractors, both locally and internationally
• Tracking legislative updates (local and international) and evaluating their potential impact
• Assisting in the prevention and resolution of contractual disputes

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Law
• 3–5 years of experience in civil and commercial law
• Hands-on experience with construction contracts
• Familiarity with EPC / General Contractor agreements is a strong plus
• Exposure to international projects or foreign legal systems is considered an advantage

Language Requirements

• English – advanced (required)
• Hungarian or German – nice to have
