Machine Learning Engineer
( Remote | $2,000–$3,000/month )
We’re looking for a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to build and improve our personalization engine — deciding what each student should learn next, when, and at what difficulty.
Responsibilities & Ownership

• Own recommendation and personalization systems end-to-end
• Build models to suggest next topics, timing, and difficulty
• Work with student behavior data (performance, engagement, drop-offs)
• Implement adaptive learning logic and improve it over time
• Run experiments and iterate based on results
  

What you’ll do

• Develop and ship recommendation models (from simple → more advanced)
• Analyze data and define key learning signals (e.g. mastery, retention)
• Continuously improve model performance based on real usage
• Collaborate with product and engineering to bring models into production
  

Requirements

• Strong Python + ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Experience with recommendation systems or personalization
• Solid understanding of data-driven decision making and experimentation
• Pragmatic, fast-moving, and comfortable shipping early versions
