We are looking for one of our clients:

Plant Manager - Manufacturing (on-site) - located in the western part of the Country - Arad, Timis, Caras-Severin counties

The Plant Manager oversees the daily operations of the manufacturing facility (around 50 employees), ensuring efficiency, safety, and optimal productivity while managing staff and resources.

The success of this position is measured by HSE performance, operational reliability, cost control, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and EBITDA contribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and shipping and receiving.
• Team Management: Lead, train, and develop plant staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across departments.
• Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality standards to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety training and audits.
• Budget Management: Implement cost-effective systems for controlling operating expenditures, workforce management, and capital assets.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in management can be advantageous.
• Experience: Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in a managerial role - production leader or operations manager.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in production management software and tools; ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• English - advanced

Work Environment

• The role is typically based in an industrial plant setting, which may involve exposure to machinery and manufacturing processes. Some travel may be required for meetings or consultations.
