Market Research Analyst (2–5 Years’ Experience) | Fully Remote 🌍

We are prioritising candidates based in selected Eastern European countries (e.g. Romania, Poland and Latvia).

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity.

Insight Survey is a South African market research company with over 20 years of experience, delivering high-quality research across a range of industries. We are currently primarily focused on the South African market, with plans to expand our geographical reach into the UK and other international markets from the second half of 2026.

The Market Research Analyst plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality research projects across quantitative, qualitative, and secondary methodologies.

Your primary responsibilities will range from putting together proposals and attending client meetings to designing questionnaires, managing projects, conducting research interviews and surveys, analysing data and creating research reports. You will receive on-the-job experience and training to ensure that your learning curve and personal growth is steep.

Key Responsibilities 📊

1. Research Project Execution

Support the delivery of primary and secondary research projects, including:

• Assisting with proposal inputs and questionnaire design
• Coordinating data collection and fieldwork
• Analysing data and supporting interpretation
• Contributing to report writing and presentation development
• Maintaining accuracy and quality across deliverables

2. Research & Analysis

• Conduct secondary research, including industry and competitor analysis
• Work with datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights
• Contribute to clear, structured, and commercially relevant outputs

3. Project Coordination

• Manage assigned tasks and timelines across multiple projects
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient delivery
• Maintain organisation and consistency across project workflows

4. Client Exposure & Support 🤝

• Attend client briefings, meetings, and presentations
• Support communication and follow-ups on assigned workstreams
• Build confidence in engaging with clients over time

Required Qualifications & Experience 🎓

• Honours or Master's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Psychology or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in market research
• Strong research experience
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and survey tools
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work within ±2–3 hours of SAST
