Let’s start with the role:
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team! This role will drive Market growth, Branding construction and develop Strategic Partnerships, Customer Acquisition and Retention plans for the Betano brand in Romania. You will be responsible for all performance channels and their main KPIs, leading the respective team. You will be joining a friendly team motivated by a passion to drive the success of the Betano brand across channels.
As a Marketing Manager, you will:

• Develop and lead the execution of the marketing strategy for Romania;
• Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns;
• Lead media campaigns, partnerships, digital marketing, affiliate marketing and performance marketing;
• Build partnerships with local media agencies and sports entities;
• Ensure compliance with Romanian regulations regarding advertising and promotions;
• Monitor key KPIs such as CAC, LTV, customer engagement, and brand visibility and brand awareness;
• Drive growth through data-driven campaigns, reducing CAC, and increasing LTV with personalized retention strategies;
• Strengthen the company’s position as a top betting operator via impactful sponsorships, partnerships, and brand-building initiatives;
• Optimize budget allocation and campaign performance to maximize ROI and scalability;
• Lead multi-channel digital strategies integrating online and offline efforts;
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing marketing team aligned with business goals;
• Build a collaborative working relationship between teams placed in different locations;
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with Romanian laws and industry standards.
  

What you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 4 years in marketing leadership roles, ideally in the betting, gaming, or sports entertainment industries;
• Proven track record in managing large-scale campaigns and partnerships;
• Experience with media management, brand construction, digital marketing, and performance marketing;
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience working & engaging in a cross-functional environment;
• Strategic and analytical thinking;
• Strong leadership and people management skills;
• Excellent understanding of the Romanian market and consumer behavior;
• Proficiency in Romanian and English.
