We are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for a global EPC & O&M provider delivering turnkey utility-scale solar power plants.This is a site-based role reporting directly to the Site Manager. You will supervise all mechanical installation works — including mounting structures, trackers, and PV modules — ensuring everything is executed safely, on time, and according to technical standards and IFC drawings.Location: Arad (Graniceri), RomaniaEmployment Type: Full-time (CIM), On-siteProject Duration: Approx. 2 yearsKey ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision: Oversee the installation of PV mounting structures (fixed-tilt/trackers), pile installation (ramming/screw piles), tracker assembly, and PV module installation. Verify alignment, tolerances, and spacing.Quality & Technical Control: Review IFC drawings, OEM manuals, and technical specifications. Monitor torque control, assembly quality, and support QA/QC inspections and ITP implementation.Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise mechanical installation subcontractors, track daily productivity, and ensure adherence to Method Statements and HSE standards.Planning & Reporting: Track daily and weekly installation progress, report installed quantities, and identify potential delays or technical risks.HSE & Team Coordination: Ensure safe execution of high-risk activities (lifting operations, working at height) and coordinate closely with the Civil and Electrical teams.RequirementsUniversity degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (Master's in Mechanical Engineering is a plus).3–5+ years of experience in utility-scale PV projects, industrial construction, or infrastructure.Proven background in mechanical site execution.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Practical, field-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in multicultural project teams.All candidates who meet the above qualifications are warmly encouraged to submit their applications online.
