Qualifications:

• Technical university studies completed or in the process of completion

• Good knowledge of mechanical engineering

• Good basic use of Pro/Engineer, Creo

• Computer operating skills (MS Office, Internet, Email)

• Intermediate English skills• Beginner French skills - an advantage

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in virtual teams, remotely

Some responsibilities you’ll cover:

• Receiving and analyzing input data: project or product modification requests written in French; contacting the applicant and communicating, in French, in order to obtain additional information;

• Searching the CAD database for copy bases: starting models close to the desired ones; naming/renaming parts according to the documentation from the applicant;

• Performing analytical calculations for the dimensioning and verification of machine parts (screws, bearings, wedges, pins, etc.);

• Proposing improvement solutions based on the analyses performed;

• Creating analytical calculation notes for engines used in nuclear power plants;

• Calculation of engine resistance to earthquakes (CS calculation note);

• Calculation of bearing verification and relubrication interval (DVR calculation note);

• Calculation of rotor critical frequency (FC calculation note);

• Design of raw parts: cast iron or aluminum, welded, stamped, forged, etc.; creation of their 3D models and associated 2D documentation in accordance with ISO standards

• Design of machined parts, starting from raw parts; creation of their 3D models and associated 2D documentation in accordance with ISO standards

• Design of 3D assemblies and creation of corresponding 2D ISO documentation: assembly drawings with positioning and component tables

• Verification and validation with the client of important design stages: solution, technical project, detail project, etc.; communication is done in English or French; compliance with delivery deadlines;

• Verification of the quality of the projects and documentation created, functionality, design principles, compliance with machining restrictions, dimensions, tolerances, verification of dimension chains, etc;
