Tasks 

1. Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
2. Inspection of Subcontractor operations to ensure compliance with Contract
3. Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications with Project Manager
4. Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, including representatives of Owner and Architect/Engineer
5. Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager & General Superintendent
6. Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
7. Prepare and submit Superintendent’s Daily Reports
8. Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings
9. Conduct quality inspections
10. Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
11. When needed and together with Cost & Commercial staff, monitor costs, including labor time and material
12. Communicate and enforce ACE PM Health, Safety and Environment Program
13. Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others
14. Other miscellaneous tasks related to MEP aspects as may be assigned and required within the Project Team

Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree

·     +5 years of industry experience specifically in MEP areas

·      Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products, ACAD

·      Broad understanding of industry and strong experience with either Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing systems

·      Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts, Subcontracts and Purchase Orders

·      Strong ability to read drawings and specifications

·      Proficiency in spoken and written Romanian and English languages

·      Exceptional communication skills

·      Extensive experience in a deadline-driven environment, excellent time management and organizational skills

·      Ability to closely collaborate within a diverse and international project team

·      Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

·      Structured way of thinking and strong decision making/problem solving skills

·      High level of personal responsibility and self-discipline
