What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and supporting Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and optimized email service delivery.
• Administering Exchange Online and Exchange Server environments in line with business needs, operational standards, and security requirements.
• Managing mail flow, connectors, transport rules, mailbox settings, and related email service configurations.
• Supporting email security and compliance activities, including policy configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshooting and resolving email-related incidents, service requests, and operational issues within agreed timelines.
• Performing Exchange migrations, upgrades, and hybrid deployment activities in coordination with relevant technical teams.
• Monitoring system health, performance, availability, and capacity across Exchange environments.
• Using PowerShell scripting to support administration, automation, reporting, and troubleshooting activities.
• Supporting integration with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory for identity, access, and mail-enabled object management.
• Documenting configurations, operational procedures, changes, incidents, and technical resolutions to support auditability and knowledge sharing.
• Maintaining and improving runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge base articles for Exchange operations.
• Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, escalation, and service continuity.
• Ensuring all activities comply with security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Degree in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience managing Exchange Online, Exchange Server, and enterprise email environments.
• Strong expertise in Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server administration.
• Experience with hybrid Exchange deployments, migrations, upgrades, and related operational activities.
• Advanced knowledge of mail flow management, connectors, transport rules, mailbox administration, and email service configuration.
• Strong understanding of email security and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating Exchange environments with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• PowerShell scripting skills for Exchange administration, automation, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex email-related incidents and service issues.
• Experience monitoring system health, performance, availability, and capacity across enterprise messaging environments.
• Demonstrated ability to document configurations, changes, procedures, and technical resolutions accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders during incidents, changes, and migrations.
• Microsoft Certified: Exchange Online Administrator Associate certification is preferred.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
