What You'll Be Doing

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server environments to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing email services.
• Manage mail flow, transport rules, and messaging security, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor system health, performance, and service availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve email-related incidents and service disruptions, including mailbox access, delivery failures, and client connectivity issues.
• Plan and execute Exchange migrations, upgrades, and hybrid deployments between on-premises and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Implement and maintain email security, compliance policies, and retention rules in line with enterprise governance standards.
• Automate administrative tasks and operational processes using PowerShell scripting.
• Integrate and manage Exchange services with Active Directory and Azure AD, ensuring accurate identity and access management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to support messaging infrastructure improvements and incident resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotations and out-of-hours support for live streaming events and critical service incidents.
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Microsoft Exchange environments, including Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server.
• Strong expertise in Exchange Online administration, Exchange Server management, and hybrid Exchange deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange migrations, upgrades, and tenant integrations.
• Solid understanding of email security, compliance, mail flow management, and messaging policies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
• Experience integrating Exchange services with Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex messaging issues.
• Microsoft Certified: Exchange Online Administrator Associate or similar certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
