Role Description

Work type: Hybrid (2- 3 days/week in the office)

Contract type: Permanent employment contract (indefinite term) 

Level: Mid (2–3 years of relevant experience)

We're looking for a hybrid profile: someone who has experience taking a project from kickoff to delivery. You'll alsomake sure that what we deliver actually works. You'll be the client's point of contact, manage the backlog, and test the features.

The role is split roughly 50% Manual QA/ 50% Project Management, with flexibility depending on the project phase. There will be projects, web and mobile development, where you will only be in charge of QA and have other colleagues take up the Project Management role. Our top management team is involved in supporting our PMs and taking action when needed.

You'll work on web, mobile, and desktop solutions, alongside small, autonomous development and design teams. The development team is working both hybrid and remote. 

This is not a "Jira administrator" role. It's a role for someone who understands the product, asks the uncomfortable questions early, and makes sure the team delivers well, not just on time.

What you'll do

Quality Assurance — Manual

• Analyse requirements and identify ambiguities, edge cases and risks before development starts
• Write and maintain test plans, test cases and regression checklists
• Run functional, exploratory, regression, cross-browser and cross-device testing (web, mobile — iOS/Android, desktop)
• Report, prioritise and track bugs through to closure, with clear reproduction steps
• Validate implementation against design (Figma) and against functional requirements
• Perform sanity & smoke testing on releases and take part in go/no-go decisions
• Contribute to improving the agency's QA processes and to standardising our definition of "done"

Project Management 

• Own web and mobile projects from estimation through delivery and post-launch
• Define scope, delivery plan, milestones and dependencies together with the tech team and designer
• Manage the backlog, prioritisation and sprint planning (Scrum / Kanban, depending on the project)
• Act as the main point of contact for the client: status updates, demos, escalations
• Track budget, effort spent and risks; flag deviations before they turn into problems
• Facilitate team ceremonies (daily, planning, retro) and make sure they're useful, not just ticked off

What we're looking for (must-have)

• 1.5–2 years of experience in manual QA, across at least two of the three platforms: web, mobile (iOS/Android), desktop
• ~1.5 years of experience in Project Management on web and/or mobile solutions
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) — applied, not just theoretical
• The ability to write clear, reproducible, correctly prioritised bug reports
• Hands-on experience communicating with clients — status meetings, requirement clarification, managing expectations
• English at professional level; we work with international clients
• Attention to detail combined with big-picture thinking: you see both the pixel and the deadline

Nice to have

• Certifications: ISTQB Foundation, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), PRINCE2 or equivalent
• Basic SQL for data validation
• Experience in an agency environment or on multiple parallel client projects
• Familiarity with Figma and the design handoff process
• Some knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) or performance testing
