Delivery Team as a part of the organization is an international organizational unit, working according to agile principles and consist of diverse roles and teams that are responsible for the technological transformation in Colonnade. This is a highly qualified team of IT Experts, located in 6 different countries, working in international teams, in a hybrid model.

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE

We are looking for an experienced QA Specialist to join a team working on Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

This role goes beyond basic manual testing. You will be responsible for ensuring quality across large, modular systems with multiple integrations, dependencies, and parallel

initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience working in complex IT environments (e.g. insurance, ERP, finance systems) and understands how to approach testing in systems where end-toend flows, data consistency, and cross-team dependencies are critical.

Understanding system behaviour, business flows, and risks is more important in this role than

executing individual test cases.

DAY TO DAY TASKS – MAIN DUTIES

• Ensure quality of delivered solutions across Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
• Design and execute test scenarios covering end-to-end business flows, integrations, and data consistency
• Perform system, integration, and regression testing in a multi-system environment
• Actively contribute to backlog refinement by identifying gaps, ambiguities, and risks, and ensuring acceptance criteria are clear and testable
• Participate in business requirements analysis and assess testability and coverage gaps
• Help to identify risks related to system dependencies, integrations, and cross-team changes
• Actively participate in alignments between multiple teams to ensure end-to-end quality of business processes
• Support defect triage and help prioritize issues based on business impact
• Work closely with the automation team by identifying test cases suitable for automation
• Contribute to improving QA practices in a complex delivery environment

REQUIREMENTS

List of requirements to be successful in the future role:

• 4+ years of experience in QA in complex systems (not limited to web applications)
• Experience working in large-scale environments with multiple teams, integrations between systems , parallel initiatives
• Experience in system integration testing (SIT) and/or UAT
• Strong understanding of end-to-end testing and business process flows
• Experience in API testing (REST), including validation of integrations and data flows
• Strong analytical thinking and ownership mindset
• Proactively identify risks, propose improvements, and take ownership of quality within assigned scope
• English proficiency (B2+/C1) for working in international teams

Additionally the ideal candidates have:

• Experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter)
• Experience with ERP or other enterprise-class systems
• Experience in insurance domain (non-life preferred)
• Experience working in international, distributed teams
• Understanding of test automation concepts and willingness to develop in this area
• ISTQB certification
