💼 Mid-Level Software Engineer | .NET, C++, SQL | German-Speaking | Remote from Romania

At CrewHarbor, we connect talented IT and SAP professionals in Romania with established German companies. For one of our long-term clients, we are looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer who enjoys improving complex applications and contributing to their continuous modernization.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance business applications built with C#, .NET and C++

• Analyze existing code and improve it through refactoring, debugging and bug fixing

• Optimize SQL queries and database structures for better performance and reliability

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and refine business requirements

• Contribute to modernization and migration initiatives using newer technologies

• Help ensure the long-term quality, stability and maintainability of complex software systems

Your Profile

• 2–3 years of professional software development experience

• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET and C++

• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and relational data models

• Experience maintaining, debugging and refactoring existing applications

• Good understanding of software architecture principles

• Familiarity with version control systems, ideally Git

• German at B2 level or above and fluent English

• Analytical, reliable and solution-oriented working style
