💼 Mid-Level German-Speaking Software Engineer | .NET, C++, SQL (Remote – Romania)

At CrewHarbor, we connect German companies with strong IT & SAP teams in Romania. For one of our long-term German clients, we are looking for a Software Engineer with solid hands-on experience in C#, C++, .NET and SQL who enjoys maintaining and improving existing applications while contributing to their continuous modernization.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing business applications based on C#, .NET and C++

• Analyze existing code and implement improvements, including refactoring and bug fixes

• Optimize database structures and SQL queries for performance, stability and reliability

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand, clarify and refine business requirements

• Support modernization initiatives and migration projects towards newer technologies

• Contribute to the long-term maintainability and quality of complex software systems

Your Profile

• 2-3 years of experience in software development with C#, .NET and C++

• Solid understanding of SQL databases and relational data models

• Strong experience in debugging, refactoring and maintaining complex applications

• Good understanding of software architecture principles

• Experience with version control systems, ideally Git

• Fluent English and German (B2+)

• Reliable, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
