Network Engineer (L1/L2)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Network Engineer (L1/L2) to provide onsite network support, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of enterprise networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with routers, switches, wireless networks, and basic network security while ensuring minimal downtime and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 1 and Level 2 network support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Perform network patching, cable management, and rack installation activities.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Configure VLANs, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing.
• Diagnose hardware and software network issues and coordinate with OEM/vendor support when required.
• Replace faulty network hardware and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and incident reports.
• Coordinate with remote teams for incident resolution and project implementations.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and SLA requirements.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, HPE, or Fortinet networking equipment.
• Basic firewall troubleshooting.
• Network cabling and patch panel management.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• Networking certifications preferred:
• CCNA
• CompTIA Network+
• JNCIA
• Aruba ACMA (Preferred)
