Tasks

• Implementing IP-based network solutions.
• Configuring network security standards and best practices.
• Configuring and maintaining network zones and access control policies.
• Managing and configuring firewall systems.
• Implementing and operating proxy solutions to ensure secure and monitored web access.
• Supporting secure connectivity for SAP systems using SAP Router.
• Reviewing, optimizing, and maintaining security rule sets and configurations.
• Collaborating with other IT/security teams and business units to ensure alignment of infrastructure with security and business requirements.
  

Qualifications
Must haves:

• Theoretical expertise of IP-based networks
• Knowledge of network (Cisco) or security (Checkpoint) equipment
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Wireless technologies
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with network zone concepts (e.g., DMZ, internal, external, restricted zones).
• Having a positive attitude and showing initiative
• Being able to work well within a team, but also individually
  

Nice-to-haves:

• Hands on experience on Cisco LAN, WAN and Wireless equipment
• Hands on experience on Checkpoint Management Console
• Python
  

Things to know before departure:

• Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract: Unlimited
• Line of work: Consulting
• Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken German (B2-C1) & English (B2)
• Flexibility & willingness to travel
• Other: a valid work permit
