ManpowerGroup Romania is recruiting for the position of Operations & Commercial Project Manager on behalf of one of its clients, a company in the life sciences and biotechnology sector, specializing in bio-chemical solutions for research and industry.

Role summary:

The role is responsible for leading projects that enhance operational efficiency and achieve commercial objectives, managing budgets, contracts, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.

Main Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

4+ years’ experience in project management, ideally in operations, supply chain, or commercial areas.

Strong contract management and supplier relationship skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.

Proficient with project management tools (MS Project.) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Project Management certification is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and deliver operational and commercial projects aligned with company strategy.

Manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and fulfillment of obligations.

Oversee supplier management, including selection, evaluation, performance, and relationship development.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, procurement, finance, and commercial areas to ensure project success.

Monitor budgets, timelines, risks, and resource allocation to maintain transparency and adherence to targets.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and performance indicators.

Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and corporate governance.
