Operations Coordinator: Apart hotel
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily housekeeping and maintenance operations, including staff scheduling, random inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Oversee the guest experience and coordinate with the Call Center regarding guest requests, support tickets, and operational incidents.
- Manage inventory, including stock control, replenishment, and audits, while coordinating with external suppliers to meet operational needs.
- Monitor OTA (Online Travel Agency) reviews and implement/report corrective actions in response to negative guest feedback.
- Lead and coordinate the operations team, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports and perform other administrative and operational tasks as required by daily business needs.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in hospitality operations, property management, or a similar operational role.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent in both English and Romanian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience coordinating or supervising teams while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle guest incidents and complaints professionally and empathetically.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts based on operational requirements.
- Willingness to travel frequently between properties within the portfolio.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Availability to respond outside standard working hours when necessary, including urgent guest, maintenance, or operational issues.
