Job Description
Following the recent acquisition of IPG by Omnicom, MRM Delivery Romania is partnering closely with RAPP to build expanded capabilities across the network. This position is advertised under MRM, will work directly in support of the RAPP team, and reflects the ongoing integration of both organizations.

Who is team x? team x is the dedicated agency for Mercedes-Benz / Omnicom. It is a full-service agency covering all areas of marketing activity (Creative, MarTech, Media, Digital Marketing, PR, Events, Production). The team in Romania is only around 1 year old and is the newly designed Experience Center which is delivering digital marketing services for all EU markets as a centralised service.

Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.
YOUR ROLE
As the Operations Team Lead you will be a vital leader in the Client Services Team. You will play an important role in the smooth running of the campaigns via the Experience Center. You will be required to have a thorough understanding of all areas of the business and will support your line manager and management across the board. The client work you will manage range from digital campaigns, platform builds, data analytics, user experience, email marketing campaigns etc. We are looking for someone with strong digital and operational background. Knowledge of digital media (i.e. programmatic, bought media, social content etc.) is mandatory.
You will require good communication; organisation and time management skills as multi-tasking will be a core part of your role. You will join a dynamic, multi-ethnical fun team that gives everyone a voice, flexibility and right to develop with a can-do atmosphere of mutual support. We expect you to be able to manage the team output, ensure client deadlines are met and work with a dynamic agency network of teams based in London, Berlin, Mauritius and India.
Your Responsibilities
(But are not limited to)
- Work closely with the Experience Center Lead in business support and management
- Strong leadership by steering the account serving team towards the right direction and maintain the good culture among team.
- Providing timely responses to client requests.
- Consistent weekly and daily conversations with counterparts in other countries facilitating co-ordination
- Schedules business meetings and do follow-ups.
- Provides input for the creation and execution of client campaigns plans.
- Gather data on campaigns to evaluate performance and gives recommendations on ways to improve campaign performance.
- Track campaign budgets.
- Developing and implementing business improvement programs.
- Developing client presentations, proposals and reports.
- Maintain thorough understanding of account management principles.
- Maintain a sense of discretion and professionalism, representing the RAPP.
Client management & Customer Success
- To build deep partnerships with clients strategic leadership, to help them shape their vision for their business and provide ideas for how technology can achieve that. Convert this thinking into a product roadmap and sell this into the clients.
- Win the confidence of clients by managing a complex programme of technology development, keeping the client informed of progress and ensuring that we meet budget and timing targets
- Be able to speak with confidence on marketing and on technology
- Help clients to develop a roadmap for their marketing technology, fusing their needs and objectives with product set and custom development services.
- Ensure that the agency establishes and maintains a leadership role with the client in their transformation journey
- Ensure clients are deriving maximum benefit from their solutions. Make sure they and their agencies are trained. Gently push them to transform their business by adopting the more effective marketing strategies that the agency solutions facilitate
- Inspire, facilitate, enable and set the agenda for other the agency departments to contribute effectively to the client
- Ensure The agency has developed and adheres to an achievable program plan. Identify and manage dependencies on client and 3rd party resources
- Act as escalation point and fixer for client issues. Many client issues create opportunities for incremental services; identify and convert these.
- Ensure highest quality of Client Service standards from everyone at the agency
- Be fanatical about the detail of how we communicate with clients.
Business and Product Development
- Understand the strategies, pressures, opportunities within clients networks
- ‘Walk the corridors’ to build relationships in these networks
- Take briefs from clients, but more importantly help them to shape briefs on the role technology can play in transforming their businesses
- Work with management & key team lead to develop roadmaps for products. Work with dev teams project managers to develop costed implementation proposals
- Develop sales strategies for selling-in roadmap to clients
Commercial Management
- Develop a detailed financial forecast for clients
- Develop team resourcing plans to ensure we are correctly resourced to meet client needs profitably
- Schedule The agency ’s work to ensure that sign offs are completed and implementation is completed to allow us to meet our forecast commitments
Project & Technical Delivery
- Partner with colleagues in product management and program delivery to ensure your clients have effective and achievable delivery plans
- Inspire and educate your colleagues on the challenges and opportunities your clients have
- Identify when to bring in the agency specialist resources
- Capture and document new client requirements. Brief detailed requirements to the agency teams.
- Act as internal client for delivery teams. Review work-in-progress demos, provide detailed feedback
- Assist clients with development of system implementation plans. Schedule and deliver training sessions
Skills And Experience
- Strong grasp of digital space and online media jargon and technology.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Ability to interact with co-workers effectively and appropriately at a variety of levels, across many disciplines.
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required.
- Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail
- They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, allied with the ability to negotiate
- Naturally well organised and unfazed when working towards deadlines.
- 10 years’ experience in the field.
Education And Other Requirements
- Overall experience of 10 years in Advertising / Marketing
- University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, Project Management or related field
- Direct client service experience
- Demonstrated supervisory, delegation and strong mentorship skills
- Proven track record of client and team success
- Working knowledge of CRM processes such as AEM & SFMC
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
