PCB Designer (KiCad Specialist)

We are looking for a detail-oriented PCB Designer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing high-quality, reliable printed circuit boards using KiCad, ensuring they meet technical specifications and manufacturing standards. A key part of this role involves collaborating with our German-speaking partners and documenting processes in German.

Your responsibilities:

• Create and refine complex PCB layouts (multi-layer, high-speed, or power electronics) using KiCad.
• Develop and maintain schematic diagrams and component libraries.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) reviews.
• Communicate technical requirements and project updates to stakeholders in both English and German.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure signal integrity and optimal thermal management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in PCB Design (at least 5 years preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in KiCad EDA software.
• Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit theory.
• German language skills (B2/C1 level) for technical communication and documentation.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
