The Opportunity

Worldline’s corporate purpose (“raison d’être”) is to craft and operate leading digital payment and transactional solutions that enable balanced economic growth and reinforce trust and security in our societies. Worldline makes them environmentally friendly, widely accessible, and supports social transformation.

The performance team currently consists out of 4 members. Their mission on a daily basis is to find bottlenecks in the system and suggest solutions. Creating new (automated) tests to either complete the test coverage or accommodate new features. They work on server and cloud-based solutions in an agile way.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Check improvements/new features to maintain and create new tests
• Analyze regressions (CPU, memory consumption, etc) to find their origin and suggest improvements
• Maintain platforms so they stay in an operational condition
• Check the effective impact of the fixes that have been made
• Support the production team in case of performance related issues in production
• You’ll do performance testing mainly in Google Cloud Platform

• You're eager to learn the system and new tools
• Curious to find a new angle that can improve the way of working
• Ability to write code in Java and have knowledge of Databases (PostGre, Oracle)
• Substantial knowledge in Unix and Shell scripting
• You know Google Cloud Platform
• You master English, as you'll work in an international team
