Job role

• 
  
• The Pricing Technology team is  an unit within  the Global  Pricing  department at AGCS. The team is responsible for maintaining and further developing the pricing tool system landscape. You will join an international department located across London, Munich, Bucharest, Chicago and New York.
  
• AGCS is implementing a major expansion of its technical  pricing  capabilities using multiple software solutions including HyperExponential’s python based Renew offering.
  
• In this role, you will report to the Head of Pricing Technology and support him and other senior team members to drive forward the development efforts of the Pricing Technology team. This will involve collaborating with the line of business and the underwriter units to maintain and enhance our existing pricing tools.
  

  What you will do

• 
  
• Maintain and enhance our pricing tools on various platforms;
  
• Update and deployment of the pricing models, ensuring they’re peer reviewed and tested comprehensively;
  
• Adhere to the AGCS Pricing testing standards;
  
• Support the team in Agile processes;
  
• Preparing pricing models for different environments;
  
• Supporting batch and impact runs across tools;
  
• Work together with AGCS Pricing and Underwriting teams to understand and ensure accurate delivery of their requirements;
  
• Collaborate effectively with IT on the integration of our pricing tools with the AGCS IT landscape;
  
• Maintain our pricing tool design principles and contribute to their development;
  
• Establish an excellent working relationship with all stakeholders to ensure their long-term support for our pricing tools;
  

What you bring

• 
  
• Background in computer science / technical field with a willingness to learn HX Renew, and Python.
  
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is an advantage;
  
• Good computer fundamentals:  Excel and SQL experience preferred;
