Role Description The Print Operator will manage the day-to-day operation of digital printing equipment and finishing machinery in a production environment. Responsibilities include preparing print files, setting up and running printing jobs, monitoring print quality, and performing routine maintenance and adjustments on printers. The Print Operator will collaborate closely with the production team to meet deadlines, resolve minor technical issues, and ensure that each job meets company quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cluj-Napoca.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Print Production and Printing, including operating digital printing equipment and managing print workflows.
• Experience with Bindery and finishing processes such as cutting, folding, binding, and packaging printed materials.
• Ability to perform Printer Support tasks, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, and coordinating technical service when needed.
• Demonstrated Quality Control skills, with attention to detail in color accuracy, registration, and overall print and finishing standards.
• Understanding of print file setup and prepress concepts (PDF handling, layout, and color settings).
• Ability to follow production schedules, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across production and customer service.
• Previous experience in a print shop or manufacturing environment is preferred; vocational or technical training in printing or related fields is an advantage.
