JOB MISSION:

We are currently seeking a motivated Master’s student or a final-year student to join our Procurement team as an intern for a 6 12-month period, with the possibility of extension. The role is similar -Junior Buyer and offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the procurement field. While previous experience is not required, any relevant experience, such as internships or practical work in procurement, would be a plus. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, pay attention to detail, be proficient in Excel, enjoy preparing presentations, be analytical, and possess good negotiation skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Procurement Activities:

Assist with the procurement process, including vendor selection and negotiations.

Take a lead for e-catalogues implementation into SAP ( create items, match plant and items, update purchase info records, etc )

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Assist in data analysis and preparation of procurement reports and presentations.

Supplier Communication:

Communicate with suppliers to gather quotes, follow up on orders, and resolve issues.

Purchase Order Management:

Support the creation and management of purchase orders and follow up delivery schedules.

Market Research:

Assist in market research to identify potential suppliers and better understand market trends.

SKILLS REQUIRED

KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights.
Ability to prepare clear and professional presentations.
Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
Good negotiation skills or willingness to develop them.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in tasks.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, willing to be independent.
