About us:

Sonaca Romaia is an aerospace manufacturer established in 2015 near Turda, part of Sonaca Group (Belgium) and produces in Romania three ranges of products:

• Assembly of slats for Airbus A320 aircrafts (movable part in front of the wing);
• Production of composite parts for the wings of Embraer Legacy 500 and E2-190 Aircrafts;
• Assembly and production of composite parts for Ariane 6 rocket.

Sonaca Romania has opened the second factory near Turda (Cluj), with ambitious plans to grow its team to almost double the current size.

In this context, the logistic and supply chain department is looking for a talented colleague to join the team, in the role of a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator.

Responsabilities and activities:

Procurement

• Responsible for allocated suppliers’ portfolio (BOM and Non BOM).
• Management of external suppliers.
• Ownership of supply schedules via MRP ordering.
• Lead supplier recovery plan and confirm live status through daily meeting with production team to ensure proper planning execution.
• Generate report and KPI by plant, supplier and material type.
• Ensure material is delivered on-time, with zero overdues and without impact on schedules.
• Check and distribute schedules to suppliers on a weekly basis ensuring supply meets the production demand.
• Provide accurate reports on supplier delays and overdues and suggest actions to prevent any delay.
• Monitor & report of supplier performance and minimize effect of late supply of materials.
• Run daily arrears and overdue material reports by supplier and part number. Monitor and review to minimize exposure.
• Communicate effectively with external suppliers maintaining a professional approach.

Supply chain

• Keep proper material flow with a robust incoming goods process to facilitate proper invoice matching process.
• Prepare, maintain and execute inventories as cycle count, permanent and periodical checks (general inventory control).
• Monitoring and optimization of the air, sea and road transport, considering of increasing the pre-series contracts.
• Contribution to ensuring product quality by ensuring corrective actions and activities of handling/packaging/storage to avoid damages to parts.
• Services optimization and meeting quality and production standards.
• Ensuring compliance and implementation of procedures and processes.
• Coordinate and track shipments and deliveries, solve problems that arise along the supply chain, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordination of the procurement, shipping & incoming team.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor degree in BA, economics, supply chain management or finance.
• Advanced English is a must.
• Experience with SAP software.
• Minimum 5 year of experience in Supply Chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands on, proactive attitude and results oriented.
• Very good communication and leadership skills.
